Reforms in Doctral





The M.A. programmes in sociology and cultural studies will be interdisciplinary, and will be open both to students who have earned the bachelor's degree in sociology or cultural studies and to students whose undergraduate education included not less than five courses connected with sociology or cultural studies. They will be open to graduates from such departments as history, philology, foreign languages, architecture, theatre science and journalism, which offer such core courses as History of World Culture, History of Ukrainian Culture, and Philosophy, as well as a range of specialized courses, depending on the department.
Those who earn the M.A. degree must have in-depth knowledge in a particular field of study and possess innovation skills, be experienced in creative research as well as in scholarly, pedagogical and organizational activity.
